Ades was shocked to see all of the people suddenly entering the cave. He was already dazed at having been thrown through the tornado. He slunk off to a darker corner of the cave, trying to be inconspicous.

Tetsuo looked back at Ades and walked towards him, "What's on your mind, buddy?"

Ades shrunk further into the corner at Tetsuo's approach. He was confused. "Nothing, I'm okay," he spluttered. Between the storm and the sudden people, especially predator-anthros, his instincts were goign haywire.

Zalina motioned for Ferrien to stay where he was. "Ades, we didn't mean to offend you if we did. We're sorry." Her sorrow-filled eyes looked directly into his.

Ades quickly cast his eyes downward, covering his head with his arms. "No offense," he whispered, closing his eyes and taking deep breaths to calm himself. "I'm okay. I'm okay. Just scared." The bat anthro shook.

"Hey." She said softly. She crossed her arms as she stood directly in front of him. "I can see that you're not okay. And I'm going to stay right here next to you until you feel better. And feel free to tell me about anything. I promise your secrets will be safe with me. I understand if you don't want to say anything. That's fine with me."

The bat looked up at the white anthro and swallowed slightly. He wanted to tell someone, but it didn't seem appropriate now. Ades wanted to show who he really was, but if he did, he'd be out in the storm faster than he could blink.
Even if they didn't throw him out, he was certain they'd ostresize him until he took it upon himself to leave.
Why was life so stressful?

Zalina sighed. To emphasize the point that she was not moving, she sat down.
Ferrien stood where he was and then made his way to one of the walls to lean against it.

Ades looked around at all of them and shivered. "I'll tell you, Zalina," he said, looking straight at the german shepherd. "But only if you promise not to tell anyone else." The young bat gave the other's an apologetic glance. Of all of them, he trusted Zalina the most. If she denied him, he would leave, storm or no.

Zalina waited patiently. She was still going to be by Ades side no matter what he would say.

Ades looked at Zalina, assuming since she hadn't left she meant to listen. He looked around at the others, then rose, and looked at the german shepherd. "Do you mind if we go somewhere else?" he asked, feeling nervous and resigned.

"Not at all. You can show me the way." She said kindly.
Menwhile, Ferrien kept casting odd glances at Shadow.

Ades nodded and took off further into the cave, wandering through the passages until he was certain they were out of earshot of the others. He turned and waited for Zalina.

Zalina followed after him, glancing back every once in a while to make sure nobody was tagging along. She soon caught up with Ades.

Ades saw the german shepherd had caught up, and sighed. He ran his black paw through his spiky hair. "Before I start, will you promise me that you won't interrupt until I'm done, please?" The bat swallowed nervously.
